BLACK FASHION: I love my skin because it is . . .

… diverse. From creamy tapioca and warm caramel to sweet cinnamon and deep ebony, our skin comes in a myriad of shades—all equally stunning.

… kissable. Especially by the sun. While we still need to pile on the sunscreen, we don’t need to run from her embracing rays. Instead, we welcome them.

Ten ways to love.

1. Listen without interrupting. (Proverbs 18)
2. Speak without accusing. (James 1:19)
3. Give without sparing. (Proverbs 21:26)
4. Pray without ceasing. (Colossians 1:9)
5. Answer without arguing. (Proverbs 17:1)
6. Share without pretending. (Ephesians 4:15)
7. Enjoy without complaint. (Philippians 2:14)
8. Trust without wavering. (Corinthians 13:7)
9. Forgive without punishing. (Colossians 3:13)
10. Promise without forgetting. (Proverbs 13:12)

"When you TRULY realize your worth, talents you possess and your vision is clear, do not be surprised when those who once sang YES with you now sing misery’s blues. It is not an attack on you, but rather a disappointment that they didn’t get there with you. Embrace your new state and KEEP…ON…GOING."

Thought.

When you're struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it's just as hard as what you're going through.
'If you did not see it with your own eyes or hear it with your own ears, dont invent it with your small mind and share it with your big mouth.'
Amen.
TO MOVE FORWARD, YOU MUST FIGURE OUT EXACTLY WHAT IS OBSTRUCTING YOU. WHATEVER IT IS, IT ISN’T REALLY THERE; IT HAS NO REALITY, NO SUBSTANCE. IT’S YOUR OWN CREATION, A PHANTOM LURKING IN THE SHADOWS OF YOUR MIND, A SHADOW DEMON. YOUR OBSTRUCTIONS ARE YOUR DEMONS, AND YOUR DEMONS ARE SHADOW DWELLERS. THEY LIVE AND THRIVE IN THE HALF-LIGHT OF IGNORANCE, SO THE WAY TO SLAY A DEMON IS BY ILLUMINATING IT WITH THE FULL FORCE AND POWER OF YOUR FOCUSED ATTENTION; BY LOOKING AT IT, HARD. BANISH SHADOW WITH LIGHT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF THAT NO OBSTRUCTION EXISTS, NOR EVER DID. WE CREATE OUR DEMONS AND WE FEED THEM. TO AWAKEN WE MUST SLAY THEM. THAT’S REALLY THE WHOLE PROCESS: SLAY ONE DEMON, TAKE ONE STEP.
